I'm trying to include a fex in the edasprof of a server. I need to decode the IBICMR_user to a generic group id stored in a database. This will allow me to group the users together for use with the DBAFILE - which is automatically created from the database table. Cna anyone assist ?

Start with updating your signature.
It is helpful for us when we know what version you are working with.

try using the siteprofile within site.wfs. The edasprof method won't give you what you need

You can overwrite a edasprof dynamically when a client passes the request. Create a fex that includes the code you want and the configuration in edasprof. Include the file in webfocus client.

1. Go to webfocus admin console, http://server/ibi_html/wfconsole.htm
2. Click Configuration --> General
3. You will see the configuration of cgivar.wfs. There you will see _site_Profile variable. The value for that will show as '/n'. Change that to -INCLUDE yourfex -RUN /n

Hope it helps,
