[CLOSED] Time Picker
Hello,

How to add feature to pick up time in a report like Date Picker in Autoprompt if date field is formatted HYYMD?

Hello Payal,
Can you update your signature with the version of WebFOCUS you are using... platform, formats etc..

As far as I know there is no auto prompt for time. A calendar widget exist for date but not for time. You will have to define it yourself.
The date format HYYMD will not give you the ability to have a time picker.

Assuming that you need hours only, you can create a fex that will populate all the hours (01:00 thru 24:00) into an xml file and then reference that file in your hour auto prompt drop down list.
If you need to also "play" with minutes and seconds, then it's going to be much more complex.

You first need to clearly define the needs to understand why you need a time picker and at which level : HH, HHMM, HHMMSS
Maybe we can have alternatives for you instead of using a time picker...

Hi Martin,
The calendar widget can give you both Date and Time option if you select the date format in source to date time.
But yes there is not widget for just time.

Hi Addy:
I have an HYYMDS column in my data and have a report with a simple prompt for that field. When I run the report Autoprompt only gives me a Calendar. Are you talking about Autoprompt or an HTML page created by Composer?

Hi BabakNYC,
I was talking about the HTML composer.
Auto prompt doesnt have any time as you and Martin said. Also there is no widget just for Time in the compose.
