[SOLVED] Reporting Server Error Bad Password

Hi Guys,

After setting PTH security to webfocus reporting server PRIMARY ,I am not able to run any report even from ADMIN User getting below error:

Reporting Server Error Bad Password

I have also passed the the the Webfocus User id and groups from client settings.

Security Settings are also INTERNAL.

Webfocus Version: 8207.13

What was the setting before PTH? In the client administration console under Reporting Servers / Server Connections / EDASERVE make sure the security is Trusted. When the reporting server is installed by default the user id is srvadmin not admin and who knows what your installer used for the password...

MOD,
Before PTH there was no security PTH and OPSYSS were INACTIVE.
and on client side SECURITY is trusted and checked on
PASS WEBFOCUS USERID AND THEIR GROUPS.

also while installing SERVER the user is ADMIN not SRVADMIN.

Can you log into the reporting server console with the admin ID or do you get that same error?

There was a setting in server in PTH properties.
