We upgraded from mainframe FOCUS version 7.1.1 to version 7.6.2. Under 711 the default LRECL when issuing a FORMAT WP was 252, under 73 the default was 366 and supposedly it hasn't changed now that we are at 762. However, my LRECL keeps defaulting to 134 instead of 366. Anybody run into similar issues? If so, how did you override the default?

You might try looking in to using WIDTH and PANEL options. We don't use WP much so not a lot of experience there.

If you are talking about mainframe FOCUS, you probably have to do a DYNAM ALLOC for the output WP file. Can you not specify an LRECL on your allocate statement?
