Anyone on release WF 5.2.9 ? I'm posting this to perhaps help someone, stop someone or get feedback on any other known problems with release 5.2.9

We upgraded one of our servers to WF 5.2.9 because of problems with long alpha/text fields. Now they work.

As I previously posted, release 5.2.9 can not rebuild Focus databases if the filename is greater than 8.3 xxxxxxxx.xxx

The next problem I've found is .gif files don't line up the same. If you're using Logos or other .gif's you will need to recode the placement.

We may back this patch out.....

Thanks,
Carol

Release 5.3.5 seems the most stable I've experienced in a while.

Prairie,
It's funny you say that, I would have said 5.2.8 has been the most stable for us. We never tried 5.3 at all, I'm testing WF7 right now.

Anyone else have a thought on the most stable release?

Thanks!
Carol

Just an update here.....

As I previously stated, 5.2.9 Gen 801 fixes the REBUILD problem, thanks IBI support!

There is no resolution for the .gif files and this wasn't something that could be easily recreated against the CAR file. :-) We need to recode one application where all the gif's don't like up.

Has anyone else upgraded to any release and had to change placement of gifs?

Thanks!
Carol
Hope to see some of you at Summit next week.
