Open from where? MRE? Developer Studio pointing to your MRE environment?

I'm not having any trouble. I can open a new or existing css file from MRE and from Developer Studio.

The option to edit should be available on the right-click menu, or otherwise with a double click.
Assuming these options are available, what happens if you do try to open the file? Do you get an error message or ...?

MSAM,

Starting in release 7.1, certain files that you used to be able to open in an editor from Data Servers/EDASERVE/Applications in Developer Studio 5.3 were no longer available for editing. I do not remember if .css files were one of them but .ftm files certainly were. These files could be opened in Projects which we don't use because of file permissions problems in a Unix environment.

I opened case 21712098 in June, 2006. It is still open. We are currently on 7.6.2. I can see the text editor option on .css files but cannot on .ftm files.

I hope this information helps you.
