Using IE back arrow button to change dashboard views?

I've just gotten a complaint that using the back arrow on their browser will show the "Views" that they have access to on login, but clicking on any of those links loads the view that they had just come from, rather than the view that they click on.

I understand that the links link in dashboard is used to handle issues like this, but I'd like to make this particular user feel like this product can do anything they want it to.


Prod: Single Windows 2008 Server running Webfocus 7.7.03 Reporting server Web server IIS6/Tomcat, AS400 DB2 database.

Unfortunate flaw on IB's part, you have to logoff and select the new view. Apparently, the idea is you'd only have 'one view'.

most of our users have access to many views.
I was looking into redirecting the logoff link to the bid login page, but all of the suggestions shown in IBI technique pages and here on focal point didn't do the job either.

The funny thing is that the address bar shows a different dashboard view than what is showing up. Kind of funny that doing a refresh doesn't even fix it.
