I wonder if there is a way to position the row-total column on a different position then at the end of a report. F.e. C1 C2 C3 Total xxxxxx 1 1 1 3
Can I position the Total column as the first column. Total C1 C2 C3 xxxxxx 3 1 1 1

Try this:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RCOST DCOST ROW-TOTAL
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C3, SEQUENCE=1,$
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C1, SEQUENCE=9,$
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C2, SEQUENCE=8,$
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=B1, SEQUENCE=12,$
ENDSTYLE
END

Use the SEQUENCE style attribute:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM
SALES
RETAIL
ROW-TOTAL
BY COUNTRY
BY MODEL
ON TABLE SET STYLESHEET *
FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8, $
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=ROWTOTAL, COLOR=RED, SEQUENCE=1, $
END

Hi Francis, Alan,
None of the solutions you provided works.
What I did not tell you (I just forgot it) is that it is an ACROSS report.
Your suggestions are welcome

You might have to be a bit more creative then. If it is a simple across, then this approach may work:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RCOST AS 'TOTAL' BY COUNTRY
SUM RCOST
BY COUNTRY
ACROSS SEATS
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, COLUMN=C1, SEQUENCE=1,$
ENDSTYLE
END
Otherwise we might have to rely on Francis to come up with something from his repertoire.
