[CLOSED] Populating multiple Excel tabs in webfocus
Is there a limit as to the number of worksheets that could be populated with a webfocus report?

I am not aware of any limit, I assume you are using the Table of Contents option to force the creation of multiple tabs (worksheets).

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Note the number of worksheets is
limited by available memory on the user's machine.

Test: WF 8.2

Do you use only COMPOUND ON?

No I am not using a table of content to create multiple tabs. Should I be using that?

PO, may I suggest you tell us what you're attempting to accomplish?

If WebFOCUS could create a spreadsheet with 5000 tabs, how does that help?

Francis

In my report the sheets are looping through the code. I have an & variable name &OPEN. On the first pass the value is OPEN. On the last pass the value is CLOSE. All the passes in between the value is blank.

ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT XLSX &OPEN

This is a summary report. The first pass is a state wide summary. The next 5 passes are Region Summaries. The rest of the passes are for each County.
