Is there a way to configure Notepad++ to run a fex that I'm editing in NPP? Thanks!

I can't speak for Notepad++, but in EditPlus, we could by using user tools to generate a call to the browser supplying the name of the file as the fex.

Not perfect but it worked.

Hi Kenneth,

I don't know of any way to do this. Since FOCUS is not an open-source language, I would not be surprised if this isn't supported. You'd have to ask one of their representatives to be sure, though. Wink

Executing a Focexec should just be a matter or determining the URL required. Obviously this will be different for a Focexec contained within an application folder as opposed to one with a content folder. The trick would be to get this dynamic as Notepad++ should be able to run a URL...

I used to do this in previous versions but not even bothered with WF8 as I use App Studio.
