[SHARING] Focal Point Search Tip
This has probably been shared or suggested before, but here are some great things to add to the "Refine Search - with the exact phrase" option.

"[SOLVED]"

"Thank you"

"IT WORKS!"

"Good GOD is it really that easy!"

I also suggested to add hashtags to better identify the real subject.

like #scheduler #compound #xlsx
or #question #workaround #bug #sharing etc.

Right, no doubt that the hashtag idea has been around for awhile.

But this post is more about narrowing down your search to higher value results by returning posts that indicate that they were successful.

Posts that have [SOLVED] in the title are easy to spot but not every successful post has that indication. Some may have other terms that indicate success like the examples above.

When I'm searching for a solution, I will add the words SOLVED and/or WORKS, to drive higher value returns.

"Francis" - less effective these days, what with GUI Savings Time and all...

Took me a bit to find where you got that quote Doug Big Grin. Also adding "Francis" to the search may net a nice rant (which usually is warranted) to enjoy.

Francis, I agree it's either "Spring Forward" or "Fall Backward" its all how you look at it.

sorry, just couldn't resist playing off of your clever GST comment; as I write code in the text editor Music
