Where the country print over the other fields?

Have you thought about a SUBHEAD on a NOPRINTED COUNTRY.

There are many other ways as well.

You could try OVER as well.

But this yields

ENGLAND
CAR JAGUAR MODEL VI2XKE AUTO DEALER_COST 7,427
ENGLAND
CAR JAGUAR MODEL XJ12L AUTO DEALER_COST 11,194

it put the country over each record, where want it over each sort group.

Also you say there are many other ways as well, can you provide the code for one?

Did you actually try the code you suggested?

Because of misplaced quote marks the code ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOPAGE appears as part of the answer set.

Second, you need to put 
ON COUNTRY SUBHEAD
"<COUNTRY"


Possibly you intended this, but didn't put your code between CODE and /CODE (both within square brackets) so it got mangled.

Here's your output:

ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM NOPAGE

Do you want each country on a different page?
If so, you should put the COUNTRY field in the HEADING and not the SUBHEAD in order to have the value of COUNTRY above the titles for CAR MODEL and DEALER-COST.

If not then I suggest the following:
