Afternoon all.

I'm in the process of building a menu for an HTML Page. When the report runs the default output is to the iframe on the page.

I also have a drop down menu component (not control) that has a variety of different output options (PDF, Excel, etc.). I need to be able to pass the currently selected parameters plus the unbound output format parameter back to my procedure.

I have an idea to create a hidden control that is bound and then manipulate its variable with javascript prior to running the execute by I was wondering if there was another way.

Hi SAI_Ryan

Since no one has responded to this I would suggest you open a case with techsupport to see if they can help you.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Hi SAI_Ryan,
What version are you using and are you using APP Studio?
I believe you should be able to do this without the extra JS. I'm curious why you don't have the output bound to something like a radio button.

SAI_Ryan.

As Msondra has suggested please let us know the version of WebFOCUS 8 you are using and if you are using AppStudio.

You should be able to accomplish what you want to do within AppStudio.

Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum!
