We have recently upgraded our BI dashboard from 7.6.3 to 7.7.1 we had up/down arrows in GIF format saved in a folder in MRE. In the new version these images do not appear on our web forms. There is a ghost image in IE9 that is functional (users can select the ghost image up/down) but in Google Chrome they dissappear altoghether. Any ideas how this can be fixed? Thanks.

There may be a problem with the URL used to resolve the picture locations.

If you use the "View Source" option of your folder can you take a peek at what value is being used for the 'src' attribute of your images and take it from there.

I would also suggest that you create a brand new HTML page using Composer in the new version referencing the very same GIF files you currently have in MRE and compare their URL with the former ones used in 7.6.3. There is likely a difference in how those resources are referenced in those 2 versions so you may need to perform some manual adjustments.

you might also want to create an images directory outside of mre. on the 'backend', as its called. eg: c:\ibi\apps\images
when you put your images in there, the reference in your htm files is really simple:
src='/approot/images/mypic.gif'
Give that a try.

also... you can use IIS to create a webserver (same name different port number) pointing directly to this image directory, without security. Therefore, images referenced there with its own full url eg: http://myserver.you.com:nnnn/images/mypic.gif
can be used in emails that get viewed in your company's webmail, eg outside security. nnnn would be a new port number you assign.
