Genius

What is the actual name of the .mas and .acx?
Based on the acx file it appears the table name is MARKET not TXTMKT so I think you should be using
TABLE FILE MARKET

"FOUCS"... ".mass"... "txtnkt"... Genius? It's a good idea to be precise - this is a technical support forum.

The metadata files (acx and mas) need to be in a folder in the application path.

Run the following commands to ensure that your program can find the metadata. The WHENCE command will search the application path and tell you the first folder that the metadata files are found in.

WHENCE TXTMKT MASTER
WHENCE TXTMKT ACCESS

Hi chuck,

.acx amd .mas file names are txtmkt.acx and txtmkt.mas and table name is MARKET so we defined SEGNAME = TXTMKT

I have both the files in application path only and fex file is also at same location.

Make sure the app folder that the tktmkt.mas and acx files are in the APP PATH defined on the reporting server. You can also specifically set APP PATH in your fex

APP PATH foldername

where foldername is the name of the directory the files are in.

The problem is that your .mas and .acx files are not under the ../ibi/apps directory structure. You have two options you can move them under a directory under the ../ibi/apps structure or you can use the following commands to map to where they are currently

APP MAP users /dbl_sh_unc/fs_users/oprtub01/users
APP PATH users

@Genius: You've been posting for a while. By this time you should know the difference between SET and -SET. And BTW, APP PATH is neither.
