Hi
One of my report needs a part of the column title needs to be Italicized.

Example:
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CAR AS 'CAR,NAME'
SEAT AS 'SEAT'
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE = TITLE, COLUMN=CAR, STYLE=ITALIC,$
ENDSTYLE
END

I want to Italicize only NAME in the CAR NAME title.

Please let me know if there is anyway to do it?

Regards,
Kasi Krishnan

I think you have to do this with html coding in the report something like italic
I never did this but you can also put amper values in there.

-SET &SUBCODE="<I>NAME</I>";
TABLE FILE CAR
PRINT
CAR AS 'CAR,&SUBNAME'
SEAT AS 'SEAT'
BY COUNTRY
END

but if this works in pdf? I do not think so.

Something new may have come along in later releases that I'm not aware of...but I did this in the past...You will have to Align the Headings with the field.

TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"COUNTRY CAR SEAT"
" NAME "
PRINT

CAR AS ' '
SEAT AS ' '
BY COUNTRY AS ' '

ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT PDF

ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=HEADING, HEADALIGN=BODY, $
TYPE=HEADING,COLOR=RED, LINE=2,STYLE=ITALIC,$
ENDSTYLE
END

This works:

TABLE FILE CAR
HEADING
"CAR"
"COUNTRY <+0> NAME <+0> SEAT"
" "
PRINT
     CAR      AS ''
     SEAT     AS ''
   BY COUNTRY AS ''
ON TABLE SET ONLINE-FMT PDF
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
UNITS=IN, SQUEEZE=ON, ORIENTATION=PORTRAIT, $
TYPE=REPORT, GRID=OFF, FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=9, $
TYPE=HEADING, HEADALIGN=BODY, SIZE=10, $
TYPE=HEADING, LINE=1, ITEM=1, POSITION=CAR, STYLE=NORMAL,$
TYPE=HEADING, LINE=2, ITEM=2, POSITION=CAR, STYLE=ITALIC,$
ENDSTYLE
END
-EXIT

EDIT: Sorry, Prarie, basically, we have the same thing, posting as you "posted"...
