HI I am trying to provide the fex file to INCLUDE Command dynamically.
Below is the code for the same,

-DEFAULT &FLN      = '&WECP_TYP.EVAL';
-SET &FF1 = IF &FLN EQ 'STPS' THEN 'STPS_RKSI' ELSE
- IF &FLN EQ 'GDDI' THEN 'GDDI_TKSI' ELSE
- IF &FLN EQ 'YFDS' THEN 'YFDS_FBCF' ELSE
-                     IF &FLN EQ 'KFCF' THEN 'KFCF_FBCF' ELSE &FLN1;

-SET &RPT_LAY       = 'DEF_TRANS_' || &FF1.EVAL;

-INCLUDE &RPT_LAY

The thing is that the file name to be included is getting dynamically generated....
So the &RPT_LAY would contain the name like "DEF_TRANS_STPS.RKSI"
This code runs fine.. when I run the report normally..
but when i try to schedule this report in MRE
It giving the error as
"Error occurred when processing the Managed Reporting procedure information. Possible cause of this error is an unreadable charcter within the procedure (FOCEXEC)."

I have included all other things correctly such as MRNOEDIT BEGIN & MREDIT END Wherever required.
I am not able to solve this issue in MRE.
Please anyone has solved such type of issue,then the help would greatly appreciable..

Thanks in Advance.....
A

Try making the whole -INCLUDE line a Dialogue Manager variable:

-SET &RPT_LAY = '-INCLUDE ' | 'DEF_TRANS_' || &FF1;

&RPT_LAY.EVAL

This include should work if the included fex is in the same domain as the main fex.

If the included fex is in an app folder, this should work:

-SET &RPT_LAY = '-MRNOEDIT -INCLUDE ' | 'DEF_TRANS_' || &FF1;

&RPT_LAY.EVAL

I haven't tried running this code so it may require a little tweaking...

Yes, Francis, it works like a charm. I use this whenever I need to dynamically -INCLUDE a fex, as follows:
-SET &FileToInclude = 'RPTTIMES' ;
-SET &IncludeStatement = '-INCLUDE ' | 'RPTTIMES' ;
&IncludeStatement.EVAL
