Is it possible to have a table name as a parameter?

We have let's say 4 different tables: A, B, C, D that are exactly same (some fieldname, format) except the data will be different.
We want to build a fex where user will select a table name and the fex will read that table.
If user selects A, then the fex should read table A and if they select B, then the fex should read table B.
Please let me know if we can achieve this.

Absolutely.

TABLE FILE &TABLENAME

This won't allow you to open/edit in the GUI tools, but you can create the report from one table, then change the filename after the fact to an & variable. We use this frequently.

Ditto on Darin's comment, we even send a parm to a table name that is a partial name, eg

TABLE FILE RTRTTBL_UNO_®ION

Allows us to point to differnt areas with out changing the code.
