Hi,

I’m new in Focus and I am given a system on Mainframe that has FOCUS as the front end and DB2 along with FOCUS database as the back end residing on the MVS mainframe. The system uses both Online FOCUS and batch FOCUS. ‘Online FOCUS’ is used for developing the different online screens.
My problem is when I revised Online FOCUS Focexec programs and compiled it. The changes did not effect on the online screen. May I ask if there is anything else that I must do so that the changes may take effect on the online screen?

P.S
Please bare with me, my grammar and sentence might not be correct. Smiler

Thanks

Hi Myke,

Welcome to the forum.

Some things can be held in memory, have you tried the UNLOAD command

I assume there were no errors in the compile.

e.g.
UNLOAD {fex name} FOCEXEC
