Hi,
I am trying to create a Compound PDF report which contains around 18 Columns and I am wondering if there is a way to make the columns overflow into next page like a regular PDF report.
Thanks

None that I have managed to get working, this can be a real pain.

The approach I have taken is to create 2 requests to create tables with known columns, and use 2 components. This is okay if the table is short, but where the table is long, then you get all the first pages followed by all the second pages.

May be "BYPANEL" could help you.

The BYPANEL parameter enables display of By fields in the left portion of each panel of a multi-panel report.

You can control the number of sort fields to be repeated on each page.

Why not split your report into 2?

1st one with, say, 8 columns and then 2nd one with 10(or whatever goes with the width of the paper).

None of the suggestions worked.

Is there a property to set in PDF composer?

I see that you closed this issue but did not see the solution.

I am wondering if you use the wrap or squeeze attributes in the stylesheet if that will help.

column=fn,wrap=.25,$

That at least got my reports not to overflow onto another page -- I had to add that for each and every column on the report -- I have not tried squeeze yet but that may also help.
