Hi,

We are able to send the report output (EXL2K) to MFT mail box using SFTP distribution option.But we are getting the error 'Unable to distribute the file.Server does not support operations to modify file attributes'.Hence we will get error notification as email.I am giving the dynamic file option to get the file name in format 'ReportName_Timestamp'.

Please let me know what can cause this error and how it can be resolved.

WebFOCUS server:Unix

From the error message, it looks like you are trying to change the file attribute in the SFTP server. Check if the user has necessary prividelge to modify file attributes. Also try with static file name instead of dynamic file names.

I have tried with Static file name also.Still this error message is displayed in the log.

Are you trying file compression in RC job? Also check the logs if shows any more details, like what attributes modification, write privilege etc.
