This no longer seems to be an option....not in 7.1.4...does anyone know where it was moved??


Open the FOCEXEC (edit as text).
From the Menu bar, choose View - Options.
Select "Mixed Case" from the Editor Options dialog box.

The editor seems to allow me to type in mixed case by default.

This is true of 7.1.3 as well - no mixed case selector, just default behaviour.

Yes saw the tool bar. To have the permanent effect IBI instructed us to do the following.
One of our developers wants everything Caps all the time.

By default, mixed case is on in Developer Studio 7x. However, if it is
not on for you, you will need to modify a configuration file in order to allow
mixed case. Open the file "ibi\DevStudio71\bin\FexFiles.ini" in a text editor.
Search for the setting called "Mixed Case". Change the value of this setting
from 0 to 1.

Mixed Case = 1

Now why the simple check box was taken away...??
