Problem in saving the excel file.
when i run the report it asks for open or save.
it saves with wfservlet name only can we change the name of the excel file in the webfocus procedure itself.(Actually i am going to schedule the report in report caster. so, i want my own defined name to the excel file which i am going to distribute the users).

Santhu its taken me two minutes to find that p.183 in the Developing Reporting Applications manual explains about using variables...

i suggest you get your manual out and start to learn about this very basic of WebFOCUS (and programming) concepts...

Santhu, within Caster, if you double click the TASKS tab there is an option for 'Save Report As' - just specify your file name here.
