Hi

I am not much into graphs in WF.

This is my hold file.

TABLE FILE TBNAME
PRINT
 COUNT_EMP
BY CATEGORY
BY MONTH
WHERE YEAR EQ '2012';
ON TABLE HOLD AS H1
END

I am trying to design a stacked bar graph which will have count on y axis and month on x axis and count for each category should be stacked on a bar. Basically, each month will have one bar showing counts of employees based on categories.

If this is not possible, can someone guide me through any other graph type to visualize this.

Thank you...

Have you tried using the advanced graph assistant tool?

Yes, I tried over there. However I try, I get bars beside each other but not stacked. (even though I select stacked bar graph). So, I was not sure what I am doing wrong.

There are different grapg types to choose from.

Do yourself a favour and download the WebFOCUS graphics documentation, it has all this info in it.

Vertical Stacked Bars (GraphType=18)
Horizontal Stacked Bars (GraphType=25)
