My company uses Git hub for source control and I need to find a way to use it with Development Studio and App studio. Does any one know how to set it up?

Unfortunately Source Control currently ins't available in App Studio and Developer Studio only works with SCC-compliant Source Control Systems.

I don't believe that Git supports this out of the box and you will need to install a client/plugin like Tortoise Git or PushOK on the same machine that Developer Studio is installed on.

Once that is installed you should see it listed in the Source Control providers on the Source Control tab of the Developer Studio Options.

The Documentation for Developer Studio has instructions for setting this up for Subversion (SVN). Git should hopefully be the same.

Note: I have never used either PushOk or Tortoise Git so I can't recommend one over the other and there may be other or better options out there.

Cheers

Stu
