The company I work for wants to use Hyper Stage. As a developer, I have no idea what's coming at us. Now we work through SQL and do not use master files, is this still possible with Hyper Stage?

We had a demo of Hyperstage, and seems it is still just a SQL database.

The underlying infrastructure came from Infobright.

I would suggest talking to you IBI rep to find out how it fits in your environment and usage.

Thanks for your reply.

Our company has already purchased HyperStage but as a developer, I was curious what the findings are.
I know anything yet of HyperStage.

the one thing that was explained to us was that to get performance in joins, everything needs to be in Hyperstage.

Whether you use SQL passthru or the Focus language is immaterial to HyperStage, or actually any database. So you should be able to take your existing procedures and just redirect them to Hyperstage.
