There is one standard report that is called Domain Usage. The first report shows the domains then you drill down to the reports in that domain and then drill down to the users that ran that report.

Thanks Chuck,

That's fine for starters when on the reporting server. We need this info accessible from a portal.

What we need is to track how often a user accesses Any Portal, Any Fex, etc. BY User, By Date, Drilldown to Time of Day, and a few more.

Other 'Reports' would be users with the heaviest / lightest usage, Portals with the most / least visitations and a few more.

This information will be displayed, dynamically, in a Portal.

Thanks, Doug

I am not aware of using RA from the WF client but you could create a domains and set up URL's to the reports that do run on the reporting server for starters. You can also create your own reports against the RA tables. There is a master file rmldb that resides in the \ibi\srv82\wfs\catalog\rm directory.

I'm pretty sure the client side activities are covered by IB's Enterprise Usage Monitoring product. https://www.informationbuilder...prise_usage_mgmt.pdf

Chuck: Thanks for more useful information again I can report from rmldb.

Babak: Thanks... But that's costly and we're not willing to go that route when, imho, RA should give use what we need. the jury's still out on that one...
