I'm trying to upload an image to be used on my portal. Do I upload it using App Studio, or what? I've been looking around for hours and I don't see where you do something like that. Thanks.

Place the image in whatever directory you want it in within your environment (Content or Data Servers side - you pick). Then log into your BIP welcome page and down on the Portals node either edit an existing portal or create a new one and down in the properties you have the option to add an image to the banner areas or just drag and drop it into a page or panel (if that is the route you were wanting) from your WebFocus resources pop-up panel.

8.2.02M (production), 8.2.02M (test), Windows 10, all outputs.

I'm having trouble with the "place the image in whatever directory" part - All I have is App Studio and I don't have direct access to the server where webfocus lives.

Do you have an environment configured within AppStudio for the server? If not, then you can't do what you are wanting to do until you get that server environment configured and accessible within your Environment Tree in AppStudio. Are you an admin? If not, I would speak with your BI Admin to get you set up.
