DB2 adapter is sufficient. After created that adapter, did you run some test report?

Hi Kamesh,
Connecting to DB2 database on the same machine having reporting server is not problem.Reports are working. But if want to connect to DB2 database on some other machine . Do I need to configure some other things also. since while creating synonyms it asks for Datasource name only and userid.

When you are trying to connect to DB2, you need to have the DataSource name, userid and password to connect.
These things you can set when setting the DB2 connection or you can modify by going in to properties.

Hi Anubha,

Not sure which release of WebFOCUS you are using. For general instructions regarding configuring DB2 Adapter, the following document may be of interest:

Using the Adapter for DB2

Hope this helps. Big Grin

Cheers,

Kerry
