I need to know if we can pass user info. like id/password authenticated in 9ias can be passed to webfocus 523.

Although I do not know Oracle 9iAS at all, I am sure that the answer is: Yes (assuming you can get the information from 9iAS). I think you can find the appropriate method in the "WebFOCUS Security and Administration manual" (maybe WFServlet Security Exit ?), and the appropriate Oracle manual.
