My lastrundate is already data format I wanted. I don't see why I need to convert it again.
I tried below code:
-SET &LASTRUNDATESTART = DATEADD(&LASTRUNDATE2, 'WD', -6);

I got the result of 41464- not a date.
does the dateadd can't work with parameter?

grace

Your Dialogue Manager variable may looook like a date, but it's a simple text string. If you want to use Date functions with a Dialogue manager string, you need to convert it to a date format before using the date function. The links I provided explain this and show you how to do it.

-SET &lastrundate = '20140604';
-SET &lastrundatestart = DATECVT(DATEADD(DATECVT(&lastrundate,'I8YYMD','YYMD'),'D', -6), 'YYMD','I8YYMD');
-? &lastrun
