[SHARING] Upgrade from AIX 5.3 to AIX 6.1

Dear All,

Thank you for your valuable time and suggestions. We are planning to upgrade our Unix Infrastructure from AIX 5.3 to Aix 6.1 . This is to take in the advantages of the upgraded unix version. We were also told that Oracle 11g adapter can be configured from UNIX 6.1 onwards. Can anyone please verify this?

One more thing , we were also told that Webfocus 7.6.11 will not work in Unix 6.1 setup. Can anyone please help me with the above queries.

Hey All,

We even opened a case for the above queries and did not get a definite answer. I have seen some users signatures as 7.6.4 , AIX 6.1. Is it possible to setup Webfocus 7.6.11 in AIX 6.1 ?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated.

We have WF Reporting Server 768 running on AIX 6.1 but the WF client is on Windows.
