WE are testing SAME_DB for DB2, and there are some differences in creating PERMANENT files (FORMAT SAME_DB PERSISTENCE PERMANENT) versus FORMAT DB2.
I cannot find any extended documentation for how this feature works, yet there are differences in how the two commands create tables. One example- a simple PRINT will create a FOCLIST column with FORMAT DB2 ; FORMAT SAME_DB does not.
Has anyone found any detailed documentation on this feature, or developed any they would share? IBI, is there a Tech Memo available?
