Hi,

My guru cape is fluttering a bit.
Long story short: WebFOCUS 7.7 MRE reports. Customer is using custom ports, so not the defaults and everything else works fine, but the GRAPHSERVERURL defaults. Where do these URL_PROTOCOL, SERVER_PORT get set at? I know they get read in cgivars.wfs

IBIWEB SETHTTP -LINES 5 -VALUES 5
HTTP_USER_AGENT='Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E)'&
URL_PROTOCOL=https&
SERVER_NAME=webfocustest&
SERVER_PORT=443&
SKIN_NAME=NEUTRAL&

I don't have full access to the box or the consoles, so I need to use my mystic FOCUS powers to impress the boss and tell where to go poke at Music

Hi Hank

I found this link on techsupport on where these variables can be set to override. https://techsupport.informatio...om/sps/50302510.html It is in the \ibi\WebFOCUS77\client\wfc\etc\site.wfs. However if there is nothing in that file it happens automagically but not sure how.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using Focal Point!

Yep, no settings in any wfs files, its that automagic here is the one that is confusing the hank out of me... I've gone through both the env on the OS and the -? & and neither one shows these as variables. As they are listed in the http header variables, I'm starting to wonder if they get inadvertently passed from the WebSphere or some java config... haven't found anything in the xml's yet either.

SOLVED - yes, they're being passed down from the WAS. the cgivars.wfs and site.wfs are the places to override.
