I have found a few posts on focal point that talk about suppressing collumn titles using across. But I am trying to do this in a multi verb request and it seems to be unique.
I am counting records across weeks, then summing defined counts in a separate verb request. Here are my defines:
DEFINE FILE TABLE1
ACTDAY / WT=OPN_DT;
ACTOPEN/WMTDYY=
IF ACTDAY EQ 'MON' THEN OPN_DT ELSE
IF ACTDAY EQ 'TUE' THEN OPN_DT - 1 ELSE
IF ACTDAY EQ 'WED' THEN OPN_DT - 2 ELSE
IF ACTDAY EQ 'THU' THEN OPN_DT - 3 ELSE
IF ACTDAY EQ 'FRI' THEN OPN_DT - 4 ELSE
IF ACTDAY EQ 'SAT' THEN OPN_DT - 5 ELSE
OPN_DT - 6;
OPENWEEK/MTDY = ACTOPEN;
CURRMTH_CNT/I8=IF ( OPN_DT GE '&MONTH0') THEN 1 ELSE 0;
PROMO_CNT/I8=1;
END

Then:
SUM
PROMO_CNT/I8C AS 'PROGRAM,TO DATE'
CURRMTH_CNT/I8C AS 'MONTH,TO DATE'
BY PRODUCT AS 'PRODUCT'
SUM
'CNT.ACCOUNTS/I5C' AS ' '
BY PRODUCT AS 'PRODUCT'
ACROSS OPENWEEK AS 'WEEK OPENED'
ON TABLE SUBHEAD
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END

Thanks all.

Bob,

What exactly is your problem or question?
I have tried a similar example, and got the results I expected. My code:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM DCOST
BY CAR
SUM SEATS/I8M
BY ACR
ACROSS COUNTRY
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END

My excel sheet shows with no title for the seats field.
I ran this in 769.

GamP,

I suspect a little speed posting here Wink I guess you meant to give this code -
quote:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM DCOST
BY CAR
SUM SEATS/I8M AS ''
BY CAR
ACROSS COUNTRY
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT EXL2K
END

T,

Your suspicion is spot-on.
Thanks for correcting me. It is exactly what I had in mind. Well, actually is was on my off-line PC.
