Can anyone share best practices for what to test in WebFOCUS after updating Java? We will make sure the application server and distribution server start up, check that the Java services are running, and test a couple of scheduled reports. Does anyone else have recommendations?

Thanks!

In Admin Console, go to Diagnostics and run Client Verification.

However, if the agents (DEFAULT, WC_DEFAULT SCHED_DEFAULT DFM_DEFAULT) as well as Java Services DEFAULT on the reporting server start without an error, you should be good to go.

The reporting server edaprint.log will log the actual java used when the server starts. Also verify that jscom3 is started.

For the client, it will show the actual java used in the admin console, diagnostics, jvm properties.
