1. In a Distribution List in Reportcaster, I know I can assign multiple values to one email, but it will send a separate attachment for each value. Is there a way to group multiple values into ONE attachment?

2. Also, is there a way to use Reportcaster to send a report with a drilldown and its subsequent drilldown report so the user can view the summary data and the detailed data? For example, I would like to send an Excel output file through Reportcaster with a drilldown link that will take you to the detail report when the drilldown link is clicked.

I'm not sure about question 1. But for question 2 you will need to use the follow set command:
SET FOCEXURL = url

Hope this helps.

if you're using isapi then...
SET FOCEXURL = http://yourservername/cgi-bin/ibi_cgi/webapi.dll
if you're using servlet then...
SET FOCEXURL = http://yourservername/cgi-bin/ibi_cgi/ibiweb.exe

stick this single line into the top your your fexes, or...what i do is have this single line in a fex, and invoke that fex as a pre-processing-procedure in Caster.
This single setting will tell Outlook where to find the complete URL of the webfocus engine .
Then your users can do drilldowns.
Note: multiple choice drilldowns wont work..they're javascript...and Outlook isn't a browser

tim, did anyone tell you how to send multiple pages in 1 email, without attachments?
if, say, your fex makes 3 reports, then.
ON TABLE HOLD AS MYTAB1 FORMAT HTMTABLE
and
ON TABLE HOLD AS MYTAB2 ...you get my drift.
then...
at the end of your fex
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
!IBI.FIL.MYTAB1;
!IBI.FIL.MYTAB2;
!IBI.FIL.MYTAB3;
-HTMLFORM END
and it will send all three output reports in a single email, in line, not as 1 with 2 attachments. way cool.
does this help?

Way cool indeed!

This will help a lot! Executive type users hate extra steps, even if it is only 2 or 3 clicks.

Thanks!
