Hi All you super intelligent WebFOCUS guru's.

Has any one looked into utilising existing composer html pages with the new page designer portal.

We are hoping to leverage of the hundreds of html pages and there inbuilt business logic, instead of having to rebuild in the new page designer.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have asked product management to look into this one. I hope they have an answer for you soon.

A composer page can be dropped into a Page. You can put that Page in the portal path to make it a part of the new BI Portal. So, in short, yes, I just created a new page using designer and dragged the HTML Composer document into it successfully.

The extension to this (which I shoul dhave mentioned explicitly) is getting the parameters from the composer page to pass to the designer page reports.

FYI, we have created a case for this.

i have same scenario. is it possible in webfocus 8205 passing html parameter to page designer.

Hoping to get some more info on this from the case.

No global variables, just the variables on the HTML composer page to the designer page variables
