I have a report where I have group bys and I page break on the lowest group. When I output the report to PDF the grand total line always goes to a separate page (last page) even though there is room on the previous page . I want the grand total to stay where the last subtotals are.
Any ideas ?

Try a Report Footing (ON TABLE SUBFOOT)

TABLE FILE CAR
SUM RETAIL_COST
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR
BY MODEL

ON CAR SUBTOTAL AS '*TOTAL'
ON CAR PAGE-BREAK
ON TABLE SUBFOOT
"Total <TOT.RETAIL_COST "

... etc ...

Try

SET PRINTPLUS=ON

This is supposed to take care of some report formatting issues. I'm not sure if it will take care of the you're having.
