Hi All,

I am having a strange problem that I am sure is a simple fix but I am at a loss.

I have file A (keyed by Field a) with the following:

Field A / Field B
key1 xxx
key2 yyy

I have file B (keyed by Field A / Field B) with the following:

Field A / Field B / Field C
key1 inc1 aaa
key1 inc2 bbb
key2 inc1 ccc
key2 inc2 ddd
key2 inc3 eee

When I join filea.fielda to all fileb.fielda I get a match for the first key but no subsequent matches, the results are:

key1 inc1 xxx aaa
key1 inc2 xxx bbb
key2 .... yyy ...

I am sure there is something I have not set correctly but I don't know what.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Rayden.

do a MATCH...as test
if you get the data values you want, then there is something wrong with your JOIN.
if you DONT get the data values you want, then there is something wrong with your data or your key structure.

I concur with Susanah.

Put a ? JOIN after your JOIN and
CHECK FILE file A PICT
-RUN

too.

You should see a KM on the descending segment.

It can help.
