Hi,

I was trying to create a chart report from app studio 8105.

i was able to see it in live preview. However, when i clicked run to see from browser, bunch of XML code showed up instead of the chart.

It was able to run if i design it from infoassist.

I wonder what part of setting in app studio i am missing.

thanks.

What kind of XML code is showing up in App Studio? Do you mind sharing here few lines of that output? Is that XML as a "error code"? (I had one like this before).

This is a typical "error message" when it comes to insufficient security clearance on your role/uniqname to run that chart.

First, you need to make sure the chart is 'published' and furthermore check security settings of that chart of parent folder to see if you are at least "DomainBasicUser" as 'Permitted'.

Do you have any update on this?

What is the FORMAT used in your hold statement?

Is JSCOM3 running?
