Domain Not Available
When we migrated the webfocus code from development environment to UAT
environment, the application is not getting launched and saying the domain not
found error.

When we migrated the entire Worp directory from dev to test environment, it is
not creating the Group View in Test env. Plz. tell us the reason for this? Am i
missing any files to move?

Then,

1. Created the new group in View Builder Manually.
2. Created new domain using Developer Studio in TEST and created new shorcuts.
3. I am able to launch the shortcuts from Developer studio in View Builder and
see the reporting page in View Builder.

But when i am trying to logon from logon page, it is saying Domain not
available.

Could you please help us to resolve this issue?

We need the versions you are using in the signature. Does your version use a database repository and did you migrate that?

Did you create the user with the proper rights to that specific domain?

Frank's just reminded me that you need proper directory permissions for IUSR_clientserver on basedir. Compare what you have now with your originals.

kummy,

You stated that you created the domain as a new domain in your test environment. If you look at the properties for both the test environment and in development, I think you will find that the actual domain name is different.

eg - mydomainnamex.html vs. mydomainnamey.html

The domains should be migrated using the change management process for MRE.
