I inherited the management of a portal with 3 different tabs. On each tab, there is a header with a radio button choice of Last Month (default) or Current Month. Currently, the portal works such that the choice of Last Month or Current Month is independent on each tab. That is, if you select Current Month on tab 1 of the portal, you must select Current Month again when you move to tab 2. Using App Studio, how can I alter this behavior so that the choice of Last Month or Current Month will be “remembered” when moving to any of the 3 tabs in the portal?

You need to define a Filters Panel that will be used only once for all the tab in you page

This from HTML/Document Composer / Request & Data Sources / Requests -> Parameters -> Filters Panel

You can find documentation on this.
