Page numbers and grand totals in burst reports

I have a report that I want to burst. The report footer includes 
<TABPAGENO of <TABLASTPAGE
and also a grand total. In the bursted output, each report includes the total number of report pages rather than the total number of pages for that section. Also the Grand Total is displayed in the burst report for the last of the burst values. I don't want the grand total displayed when the report is burst but I do want to include it if I run the report without bursting.

I think there are issues with using the above when doing such things as well as compound reports.

add a amper into the report that says

-DEFAULT &BURST='N';

put something in at almost the end of the report like


-IF &BURST='Y' THEN GOTO NOTOTAL;
-NOBURST
-ON TABLE COLUMN-TOTAL
-NOTOTAL
....

In the reportcaster you can set the amper value to 'Y' .
If you run it from a prompt the 'N' will work and give the total value

That's what I was thinking too. I was just hoping that Report Caster would be smart enough to know not to include a grand total when a report is burst. Thanks.

I forgot the pagenumbers

there is an option to start renumbering by the first grouping field.
it's somewhere in the manual, but I do not know the coding by hart.
