Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to prevent users from creating a Application Mapping to Disk as an application type?

When my app admins go to the reporting server with the intent of creating a new App Folder, they are presented with two choices:
1) Application Mapping to Disk (Default Choice)
2) New Application under APPROOT

On a few occasions, they mistakenly accepted the default and chose the mapping option. When they realized the mistake, instead of just deleting the mapping they delete the folder, which crashes the server and requires a restart.

I do not want them creating mappings, so is there a way to either force the application type to be New Application under APPROOT or remove the option to create a mapping?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest checking security manuals, as I think there is a way to stop OS access
