Release 7.7.03 We have several long running reports, and we would like to submit these to run in batch so that the user can do other things while these repots are running. We have noticed that in the HTML Composer, their is an option on the buttons to schedule a report and Report Caster opens, is their a way to pass the ID and password to Report Caster along with the other fields that it is looking for.

Mike,

Have you considered running the reports in Deferred Mode? That might suit your needs better.

Deferred Mode is only available in MRE. You could create a batch file to run your report(s). I suggest you use the word "batch" to search this forum and the IBI Tech Support site. You'l find lots of hits that might give you the direction you need.

... That's what the scheduler is all about: Running a job for you, based on someone's credentials and supplying values for the associated variables.
