Hai all

In one of my reports (.fex) I had a small HTML section a the end to display no records if &LINES EQ 0. But the problem is, if the report fails to some database connection etc control goes to same place and says No records. But if I put &ECHO = ALL and when I see back end code, then I know there is error. Is there any way to provide different customized message to say if there is any FOC error.

I am little new to WF, so not sure if this is an easy thing.

Thanks a lot..

Hi,

You can use the variable &FOCERRNUM to check if it has a FOCUS error, if zero then no error.

You can use the function
-SET &FOCERRDESC=FEXERR(&FOCERRNUM,'A72');
to get the error description where &FOCERRDESC is just a regular variable so that you can display in HTML.

Best Regards,

Jimmy Pang
