deadlocks in SQL querries

I am writing a sql query in my fex file it is not showing the output due to a deadlock ( other application is updating the set of tables) now i use " with ur " command , but it is not supported in webfocus any solution for this deadlock problem

What syntax are you using for the SQL in WebFocus?
Sounds like you�re having WebFocus translate and not using pass-through.
Have you tried creating your SQL as a stored procedure and calling that?

SELECT column FROM table FOR FETCH ONLY WITH UR;
END

Should work but it depends on how your adapter is installed and configured which is partly dependant on Platform.

You could also try adding
ENGINE DB2 SET ISOLATION RU
before the SQL request
