We are in the process of converting several legacy PowerBuilder reports to WebFocus. The SQL used for retrieving the data for PowerBuilder should have a reasonably transparent conversion to SQL Pass-Through (a/k/a inline SQL).

Does anybody in the FOCUS nation with PowerBuilder expertise have any suggestions for converting the reports past the initial retrievals? Thanks in advance and enjoy the Super Bowl.

S.J.Kadish,

Once the SQL creates an output file (SQLOUT or named HOLD file) then any WebFOCUS report can be produced on this file either using the code or the GUI tools.

No comment on the outcome of the Super Bowl!

Here is an example after searching within Focal Point:

[CLOSED] Executing SQL

[SOLVED] DB2 Stored Procedure
