HTML HREF to a dashboard tab?

We're just getting started with dashboard...
Is it possible to create an HTML HREF on one tab of my dashboard that would navigate the user to a different tab on the dashboard?

Thanks!

Nope. No way to navigate to a specific tab in the dashboard through an HREF/URL. There was a recent post regarding this topic . You access the dashboard and you get the default page (tab 1)

Thank you for the reply Darin.
I am aware of the post that you mention, and what we're trying to accomplish is a little bit different.

Once the user is in dashboard, we can HREF them to www.google.com or any other website via a link posted on a dashboard report. What we would like to do is HREF them to another tab.

When one hovers over a tab in the dashboard, it shows "javascrip:select('Page_3'); return false;" What we'd like to do is create an href that would pass the 'page_3' value through an href while already in dashboard....

I don't understand javascript so well, but if the webfocus programmer fellas do it when you click on a 'tab' then I'd think that an average joe user like myself may be able to as well.

Sorry if this is all clear as mud.

Jason,

You are right when you say that the hover shows: "javascript:select('Page_3'); return false;"

You could create a html that calls the same javascript function from a link. You would need to include all of the relevant js files. If can not get the link to call the javascript function directly then create a html page that calls the function in the onload. Then you could just open that page.

I don't know for sure because I'm not an HTML/javascript guru, but I think the problem with Fernando's suggestion is that in the case of creating a link or HTML page that calls the function onload, you are calling it from the contents inside the window/frame in which case it's not going to know about the dashboard objects/tabs. The function needs to be called from the HTML page that actually contains the tab objects. Can anyone else verify this?
